Engaged? Insure the Ring

Happy Insurance Tip Tuesday! ? Have you recently gotten engaged? Congratulations! In today’s video, Donn Sharer explains why one of your next steps should be to get your ring insured.
One of the most common accidents that happen with engagement rings ? is that they are misplaced or lost. So while your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance covers fires or theft in your home, they unfortunately won’t cover that.
Luckily, you have 3 great options to protect against these situations:
1. If you live on your own, you can add the ring to your current home or renter’s insurance
2. If you live with your parents, you can ask them to add it to their policy.
3. Depending on the price of the ring, you may even consider getting a separate policy for your jewelry.
If you’ve got a new ring, congratulations! ? Here at Considine Sharer & Associates, we’d be happy to discuss the best next steps for you! Give us a call at 609-971-9725 and we’d be happy to help you out.
