Helping Carly Cope With Her Congenital Heart Disease

Carly was born with Congenital Heart Disease 15 years ago. CHD is the most common birth defect and the most common cause of infant death. Nearly 100 babies are born with CHD, and there has yet a cause to be determined.

Carly has Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome, one of the most severe of CHDs. Because of the lack of research, she has developed various complications and is now being drained every 4 weeks. This heart failure has taken a toll on her body; she is weak and has lost quite a lot of weight. She’s always cold because there really is no fat on her body to insulate her. But one thing that this has not taken from her is her sense of humor and smile.

Our Agency is not only raising money for our Carly and her family to help with hospital bills but is also on a mission to raise awareness of CHD and find more successful treatment options.

Sincerely, your friends at Sharer & Associates
