Sharer & Associates and the Michael’s Feet Organization Embark on Two Month Charity Drive to Assist Critically Ill Newborn Babies

Sharer & Associates Inc., a northeastern Jersey firm that provides insurance and financial preparation assistance to families and entrepreneurs in and around the Forked River and Millstone Township areas, is working in cooperation with the Michael’s Feat organization in a regional charity event to benefit newborns struggling with complications or critical illness.

Named in honor of Michael Puharic, a young boy born with a chromosome disorder who passed away only 83 hours after his birth, the Michael’s Feat organization offers support to families of newborn and premature babies facing serious health challenges. Programs offered by the charity include assistance with furniture and medical equipment, expenses for traveling to and from the hospital, and direct financial support.

“Every infant deserves a fighting chance at life and we want to relieve the financial stress that families experience when their infant is born with complications,” says Bob Considine, senior partner of Sharer & Associates. “Our goal is to help Michael’s Feat provide assistance to as many newborns as we can,” says Considine’s partner, Donn Sharer.

Both partners are actively involved in ongoing publicity efforts to generate support for the Michael’s Feat charity event, including several outreach programs over email and social media channels. As well, the Sharer & Associates team will be producing a full-length article on the charity event, which is scheduled for publication in the soon to be released edition of “Our Hometown,” a monthly online magazine hosted by the firm: https://sharerandassociates.com/magazines/

In June of last year, Sharer & Associates became a northeastern Jersey representative of the “Agents of Change” network. As members of this group, the firm plans to continue their policy of finding and supporting a new regional charitable cause or nonprofit organization every other month.
