Matt Blaine is a partner in the firm's Business Law and Litigation Department. He is also Chair of the Davison, Eastman & Munoz Technology and Innovation Committee, where he spearheads the firm's technological advancements.
Matt has a broad array of experience and has handled numerous business disputes throughout the Northeast for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has been involved in cases concerning contractual disputes, business torts, fiduciary responsibilities, oppressed shareholder allegations, landlord-tenant disputes, construction disputes, insurance coverage disputes, eDiscovery issues, intellectual property rights, consumer fraud allegations, disputes concerning real property, restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, arbitration, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, fraudulent transfer, successor and alter ego liability, copyright infringement and allegations of individual liability for corporate debts.
Matt also advises on transactional matters, including business formation, acquisition, merger/consolidation and dissolution.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt served as an appellate clerk for the Honorable Linda G. Baxter, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University in 2004 and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in 2008.
